Cabin in the Woods

Set in the woods with its own stretch of river, this secret cabin offers a complete break from modern life.

Comprised of a luxury Shepherds Hut (made by Plankbridge in the UK) and a seperate cabin housing the kitchen and the bathroom, rustic living has never been so comfortable.

The Shepherds hut has a comfortabe double bed and sofa with windows all round giving a near panoramic view of the river and woodland.  Fall asleep to the gentle sounds of the river and wake to the sounds of birdsong.

The kitchen and bathroom are housed seperatly in a charming, open plan cabin, equiped with a gas hob, hot water shower and eco friendly dry composting toilet.  The kitchen is well equiped to prepare and cook your market sourced provisions hygynically and in comfort. 

Camping has never been so luxurious.

Outside there is a table and seating, two sun loungers, a hammock and easy access to the river.  A BBQ is provided for al fresco cooking and a fire pit enables small controlled fires in the evening.

Popular with those that need a complete break from modern life, there is no wifi and limited phone coverage (we suggest downloading your content prior to arriving if further on site enetertainment is required! 

However, we find that nature provides all the entertainment needed.  Look out for the kingfishers flash of blue, watch the fish and copou scurry about their business and in the woods opposite, across the river, the occasionaly boar or deer might be spotted.
